About Us.
Mpower. is a community-based, nonprofit project rooted in the diverse city of Cambridge, MA. We partner with health educators, medical providers, school nurses, teens, and parent groups to engage and support youth around menstruation, body literacy, and well-being.
Our mission is to empower youth around their health and bodies, and help equip them with the support, skills, and knowledge to be strong self-advocates for their health.
We believe that early, positive interventions can normalize bodily changes, strengthen community support, and foster lifelong confidence in one’s body and health.
If you have ideas, interest, or questions, we’d love to hear from you.

We love our volunteers & partners.
Everything we do is a team effort. From soliciting donations to organizing our events, we continue to benefit from the generosity and enthusiasm of educators, parents, and other supporters near and far.
We are especially grateful to our lead volunteer ambassador, Danielle Card-Howe and contributor & speaker, Dr. Kayla Wheat.
Special thanks to our fiscal sponsor, Friends of Baldwin, a non-profit organization that works to strength the Maria L. Baldwin school community in Cambridge.
