We know of no better way to engage youth than to throw a party! Our signature period parties center around a create-your-own period pack activity, where we provide a variety of supplies and kid-approved goodies to include. You can feel the enthusiasm as they prepare their packs - ready for whenever they need it. Our events include a Period Empowerment Speaker, engagement with educators, art projects, and information about resources available at their schools. With music playing, red balloons, and delicious food, the atmosphere is light, festive, and inclusive. At these parties, periods are no longer taboo!

We provide local elementary and middle schools with our signature First Period Packs for any student who unexpectedly gets their first period during the school day. These packs are pre-assembled care packages that are filled with useful supplies, including a variety of different sized menstrual products, and a few unexpected surprises (e.g. tea bag, lollipop, chocolate, fun vinyl stickers, gel pen). Each pack also contains a tween-drawn graphic offering normalization and support around menstruation. For those who can’t make it to a period party, we’ve got you!

Together with our First Period Packs, we offer schools back-up black leggings in various sizes, as well as tween and teen-sized pads. Our hope is that any student in need will have access to helpful supplies to get them through the school day, with take-home options, as well. We also offer non-menstruating students the opportunity to make an “ally pack” to help support their friends - and de-stigmatize menstruation.

We are now partnering with older students around leadership, advocacy, and other service learning projects that benefit community members and those in need.
